The lymphatic system is similar to the circulatory system, but unlike the the circulatory system, it does not get pumped by a specific organ. Instead, it relies on the movement of muscles and joints to move lymph (the fluid within the lymphatic system, similar to plasma).
The lymphatic system regulated the immune system and is responsible for helping fluid and waste products leave the body. When this system becomes blocked, the fluid builds up and stagnates which can cause the entire system to become toxic, resulting in feeling sluggish and being more likely to contract viral or contagious diseases.

What to Expect

Your lymphatic drainage massage appointment will last 90 minutes. During this time, you will receive a thorough consultation before receiving a full body treatment. Once the treatment is complete, you will be given time to drink a glass of water and relax before leaving.
